SMC Pneumatics, the world leading automation control experts, are pleased to announce the launch of their latest range of compact cylinders with both lock and air cushion – series RLQ. Developed to provide the safety of drop prevention, at any point of the stroke, should the air supply be cut off, series RLQ benefits from additional features such as its own built in air cushion, standardized bypass piping and home position holding function. Also with the air cushion and lock unit contained inside the cylinder, the RLQ series offers similar space saving dimensions to SMC’s existing compact CQ2 range.
